Cyber Bullying Bullying is a bad thing but the worst of all the types of bullying is cyber bulling, it is a terrible weapon that can destroy someones life and reputation. Cyber bullying is a part of bullying in which a person torments or harasses other people in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner, with technology. It has had a much greater effect on the world more than the traditional way of bullying. Cyber bullying was introduced in the 1900s, because the technology like the computer, and the cell phone werenââ¬â¢t introduced to the public until that time. The great advances in these products helped in the increase of people being cyber bullied. The traditional bullying has a combination of physical abuse, verbal abuse, and emotional abuse. While in cyber bullying it would just be emotional and verbal abuse because the person being bullied doesnââ¬â¢t get physically hurt. The traditional bullying would be face to face usually on school grounds during the school day, and it would have a smaller audience. Cyber bullying is at school and at home, all day, everyday either by the form of a text message, or chat room, or on social networking websites, and it has a large audience, for example if someb ody posted on your wall on facebook everybody can see it and then people will comment and it will be a lot of people. Cyber bullying can be prevented easily; the first step to do is to educate yourself in the field so you can understand how to deal with the idea and to help people that are being cyber bullied and to increase awareness about cyber bullying. The second step would be to keep personal things personal, donââ¬â¢t give out your home address and your phone number on online websites.
